Group Engineering Manager

Job Title: Group Engineering ManagerLocation: Gauteng, South AfricaOverview: Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Group Engineering Manager to lead their mining engineering team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mining industry, with proven leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing engineering projects. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities within the organization, including planning, design, and execution of mining projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of engineering professionals to ensure successful completion of mining projects.Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency and maximize production.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions for mining operations.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet project deadlines and budget targets.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.GCC Mines and WorksMinimum of 10 years of experience in engineering management roles within the mining industry.Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.Strong project management skills and a proven track record of delivering successful engineering projects on time and within budget.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of mining regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
