Location: JohannesburgDescription:My client has a position of GROUP DIGITAL LEAD AT WOODMEAD.Lead the development, creation, implementation, and maintenance of the Group DIGITAL Portfolio strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives.Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into business DIGITAL solutions.Provide strategic guidance and roadmaps for technology investments and initiatives across local and global DIGITAL portfolio management.Lead the secure management of the DIGITAL portfolio to ensure that IT systems are designed and developed with security standards and compliant with all relevant regulations across local and global operations.Lead the design, development, and implementation of the DIGITAL management frameworks and methodologies across local and global operations.Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across all enterprise DIGITAL.Develop and maintain DIGITAL lifecycle documentation, including blueprints, roadmaps, and reference models.Manage and track the number of new technologies evaluated and proactively research and evaluate new DIGITAL solutions that could benefit the organization.Measure and track the percentage of new DIGITAL capabilities adopted and the success in its implementation that align with the enterprise architecture and business needs.Measure the time to adopt new DIGITAL tools from identification, evaluation, and implementation thereof.Lead the design and implementation of DIGITAL portfolio frameworks and methodologies across local and global operations.Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across the development of enterprise DIGITAL.Manage and track the number of architecture deviations identified in the DIGITAL lifecycle and identify and address any deviations, ensuring consistency and maintainability.Measure the level of documentation completeness and comprehensiveness of the DIGITAL portfolio documentation, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the necessary information.Lead the proactive management, identification, and mitigation of risks associated with the enterprise DIGITAL portfolio across global operations to ensure that technical solutions are secure by design through close collaboration with the Group Information Security Officer.Manage and lead the assurance and compliance with security policies, regulations, and industry standards across the DIGITAL portfolio.Develop strategies for digital protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity in line with business imperatives and requirements across various global operations.Lead the tracking and measurement of the number of DIGITAL-related security findings to ensure the effectiveness of efforts in enabling a secure IT environment.Measure and track the percentage of IT systems compliant with regulations to ensure that DIGITALs comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards of local and global operations.Manage and measure the time to resolve DIGITAL-related security vulnerabilities and measure the speed at which they can be identified and addressed.Manage and lead all stakeholder engagement and communication, acting as a strategic liaison between business leadership, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration with the strategic priorities of the global business.Lead and manage the communication of the strategic benefits and value of enterprise architecture to stakeholders at all levels across the global operations.Lead the development and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT organization across the IT enterprise DIGITAL portfolio.Lead the promotion and adoption of agile methodologies to enhance delivery and operational efficiency across the global operations while enforcing Security by Design principles.Mentor and coach analysts, specialists, and other IT professionals across the enterprise-wide IT organization.Manage and lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of the DIGITAL portfolio to ensure alignment with the strategic imperatives of local and global business priorities.Qualifications:IT-related degreeA postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.10 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in a Digital Lead role.
