Group Accountant

Minimum Requirements:Completed B.Com Accounting Degree / Management Accounting essential. Minimum 5-8 years experience required as an Accountant within a Manufacturing / Retail industry. Strong literacy on Excel and Syspro. Must be able to work in a very pressurised and deadline driven environment.Duties will include:Responsible for the Trial Balance, Income Statement and Balance Sheet.Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.Processing and recordkeeping of all adjustment journals, to be approved by Group Financial Manager and Director.Reconciling balance sheet account on a monthly basis (inventory costing and work in progress).Preparation and reporting on monthly management accounts to management.Performing day end, month end and year-end on SYSPRO system.Expense provisions management.Nedfleet management.Creditors and Expenses.Cashbook Recordkeeping and filing.Design, review, document and implement internal controls.Annual Audit.Budgeting.
