Our Golf Services department is now accepting applications for a Golf Concierge - someone who understands golf, has a positive service orientated attitude and a passion for this industry. In this role you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding our member and guest golfing expectations: ensuring the players receive a world-class experience as expected of a 5-star resort.
You will be required to multi-task and perform various general golf duties: welcoming members and guests, ensure all player requirements are met, staging of golf carts, allocation of caddies, act as starter, act as course marshal, driving range operator, drinks cart operator, caddy shack attendant, etc. Other operational duties and responsibilities might include: (areas and indicators listed are not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time): Stock controls and cash-up,Daily handover reports,Actively manage the golfer experience on the course,Assist golfers with general requirements,Some administrative duties.We consider the following as essential and will test / check for examples of achievement or success in these requirements listed:Grade 12 or equivalent,Thorough knowledge of the game of golf (the rules and etiquette, golfer requirements, etc.
),A minimum of 1 years experience working in a golf environment,The ideal candidate must have a proven record of good people skills, and exceptional customer service,Must be able to comprehend verbal and written instructions, must be able to successfully carry out such tasks with limited supervision,Must be reliable and trustworthy,Must show initiative in line with meeting and exceeding customer expectations.The successful candidate will be physically fit to carry out all reasonable duties associated with this role, and will be able and willing to work additional hours, weekends and public holidays.
