Qualifications: Minimum NQF Level 3 qualificationJob Type: 3 Month Fixed TermExperience: Minimum 2 years experience in Gold Plant OperationKey Performance Areas:· Plant production· Personnel safety/plant safety· Plant housekeeping· Reporting to the process engineer/ Data and log sheet quality· Reporting to the client group regarding incidents/issues related to the plant· Sampling and test work according to procedures to ensure quality of the results given· Instrumentation calibrationResponsibilities:· Conduct daily risk assessment and ensure all safety measures are in place before attending any work on site· Ensuring that the correct PPE is always worn· Completing all tasks safely within the Mine Health and Safety Regulations· Engaging in daily toolbox talks and ensuring the daily risk assessment is done correctly.· Operation within the plant boundaryo Screening of carbon materialo Loading of carbon material into the millo Reagent make-up according to the required concentrationso Operation of the RIL circuito Elution of the loaded resino Transfer of the resin and waste slurry· Analysis and log sheet completion according to the monitoring program· Reporting of all issues, incidents, changes etc. to the Process Engineer that was observed during the day that had an impact on the Au recovery process before his end of shift. Conduct shift handover· Monitor plant reagent consumption· Communication with the process engineer to ensure all work that is needed on site is completed on planned maintenance shutdownsLocation: Gold Fields MineContract length: 3 months
