About the Role The Company is seeking a Global VP of IT Applications & Architecture to lead the organization's information technology strategies and initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence through the simplification, standardization, automation, optimization, and security of global IT systems.
This includes ERP, HRIS, manufacturing execution systems, digital control systems, industrial control systems, business warehouse and data analysis, and financial consolidation systems.
The role involves leading a large team of IT professionals and contractors, managing global IT standards, and overseeing the budget for IT projects.
The VP will also be a key player in the company's strategic IT/OT convergence program and must have a strong background in business transformation, particularly in the context of the chemicals, mining, or oil and gas industries.
Applicants for the Global VP of IT Applications & Architecture position at the company must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in managing IT teams, with a focus on architecture, systems development, support, compliance, and automation.
A similar tenure with SAP ERP solutions is also required, along with a proven track record in leading business transformation initiatives and managing application managed services outsourcing partners.
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of key business functions and a collaborative management style.
An excellent grasp of current and emerging technologies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential.
The role demands a change-oriented individual who is capable of driving process improvements and supporting change within the organization.
A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being a plus.
