Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team in Cape Town.
The Global Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across multiple countries.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in payroll systems, international regulations, and the ability to collaborate with local HR, finance teams, and third-party payroll providers.
The ideal candidate fits the below profile: Motivated and self-driven (entrepreneurial outlook)Committed to technical excellenceGood relationship builders (internal and external)Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in multiple countriesEnsure payroll accuracy by verifying employee data, timesheets, benefits, and tax complianceReconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerMaintain compliance with local and international payroll regulationsPrepare and submit statutory reports such as tax filings, social security, and labor reportsStay updated on changes to global payroll laws and regulationsWork with our local accounting partners in each payroll region to resolve payroll queries if anyWork with HR and IT teams to ensure payroll systems are up-to-date and optimizedManage integrations between payroll systems and other platforms (e.g., ERP, HRIS)Support audits and provide necessary payroll documentationQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)10 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a global or multinational environmentProficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, Payspace)Strong knowledge of global payroll regulations and tax complianceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plusCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalentGlobal Payroll Management Certificate or similar.AESG is a multidisciplinary specialist consultancy, offering a consultancy service and work environment like no other.
