Sayari Earth is looking for a dynamic and innovative GIS and Spatial Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our environmental initiatives, leveraging Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis to drive impactful conservation and sustainable development projects. Your work will directly contribute to protecting biodiversity, managing natural resources, and supporting communities in their efforts to live more sustainably.Kay Responsibilities•Develop and manage GIS databases and spatial data infrastructure.•Perform spatial analysis and modelling to support environmental projects and decision-making.•Create high-quality maps andvisualizations for reports, presentations, and publications.•Collaborate with project teams to integrate GIS and spatial data into project planning and implementation.•Conduct field data collection using GPS and other surveying tools.•Provide technical support and training to staff and partners on GIS applications and tools.•Stay updated on the latest GIS technologies, trends, and best practices.•Utilize advanced tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and coding in earth sciences to visualize data, illustrate project impacts, and make a persuasive case to potential funders and partners.For more information please refer to the advertisement on our LinkedIn page.
