General Workshop Assistant

Well established civils company based in East London are seeking an experienced applicant to join their dynamic teamResponsibilities:Workshop Maintenance:Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop and yard areas.Regularly clean tools, equipment, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.Tool Repair and Servicing:Perform repairs and servicing on pneumatic air tools.Conduct routine maintenance checks on workshop equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.Document all repairs and maintenance activities.General Assistance:Assist with various tasks as directed by the employer to support the overall operations of the business.Collaborate with other team members to enhance workflow and productivity.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in the workshop.Additional Duties:Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to workshop practices.Adhere to company policies and procedures.Qualifications:Relevant qualification advantageousPrevious experience in a workshop or maintenance role preferred.Basic knowledge of pneumatic air tools and general repair techniques.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Good communication skills.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.Comfortable working in various environmental conditions typical of a workshop setting.Salary:negotiable based on experienceShould you wish to apply please email your CV through to Erin Bentz at ****** shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
