Experience: At least two (2) years as a food preparator/tote washer/line operator in the food manufacturing industry.Formal qualificationsMatricComputer literacy (Microsoft Office package)Fluent in EnglishResponsibilitiesIn scullery (preparation):Complete Start up inspection documentStick to production planningComplete scullery transfer record accurately and in timeRecord keepingTo comply with the applicable compliance guidelines.Any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the business as the employer may from time to time directCommit to act according to the key management principles and the safety-first culture as defined in the Safety-first policyAssisting in other departments when necessaryTote washingTank washing & sterilisation to be done as per exact procedures.Documentation to be completed in full and correctly.
Fill in correct times and names on tank sterilization sheets.Follow all Company policies and safety procedures.
Ensure good working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.Follow shift change over policies by communicating any problems to the new shiftFollow cleaning procedures to always ensure a clean uncontaminated tank.Use correct colour coded cleaning materials and correct detergentsEnsure Tank washing area is always clean.Provide total efficient manufacturing in all departmentsRemove all empty containers and empty pallets to designated areas.
Remove all empty bags and dirtEnsure that there are enough raw/packing materials for the days batchesAll utensils, equipment and machinery are to be clean and sanitizedBe able to work in other departments when necessary.Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.To comply with the applicable compliance guidelines.And any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the business as the employer may from time to time direct.Commit to act according to the key management principles and the safety-first culture as defined in the Safety-first policyTasks instructed by Supervisor must be fulfilled and any accidents or problems must be reported.
