Position Objective: The General Manager of the School of Technology is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, supporting the academic and operational staff, and ensuring the efficient management of resources. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintain an optimal learning environment and support the mission of creating holistically developed technology leaders.
Roles and Responsibilities: Daily Operations Management
Lead the day-to-day operations of the School of Technology, ensuring a seamless and efficient environment that supports academic excellence and innovation. Manage and mentor the Heads of Academics and Operations Manager, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team. Proactively address operational challenges to minimize disruptions and maintain an optimal learning atmosphere. Academic Administration
Partner with the Head of Academics to implement and monitor cutting-edge academic programmes. Ensure effective management of academic schedules, resources, and faculty assignments. Oversee the smooth administration of assessments, examinations, and student evaluations, ensuring the highest standards of academic integrity. Resource Management
Optimise the allocation and utilisation of state-of-the-art resources, including classrooms, laboratories, and advanced technological equipment. Ensure all facilities and resources are maintained to the highest standards, meeting the evolving needs of students and faculty. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to swiftly address any maintenance or logistical issues. Student and Faculty Support
Foster a supportive and vibrant environment for students and faculty, addressing their needs with care and efficiency. Implement initiatives to enhance student engagement, well-being, and academic success. Support faculty development and satisfaction, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Strategic Collaboration
Work closely with the Group Chief Operating Officer to align operational activities with the broader strategic goals of Regenesys Business School. Cultivate partnerships with industry leaders, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to enhance the school's impact and reputation. Relevant Experience Range (InYears): Minimum 6 – 10 years' experience in educational leadership, academic administration, or a related field, preferably within a technology-focused institution.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of educational management principles, including curriculum development, assessment strategies, and academic governance.
Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in training delivery methods and platforms, with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes. Strong people management skills, including the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop academic and operational teams. Proven project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives and drive them to successful completion.

Minimum of 6-10 years of progressive experience in educational leadership, academic administration, or a related field, preferably within a technology-focused institution. Demonstrated experience in managing teams and overseeing day-to-day operations in an educational setting. Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment methodologies, and academic governance principles. Experience in building partnerships with industry leaders, academic institutions, and other stakeholders. Previous experience in a managerial role within a technology-focused educational institution. Certification in project management or educational leadership.
