General Manager, Manufacturing, Butterworth, Ecape

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with Engineering based qualification3+ years experience in the manufacturing / engineering industry in terms of productionValid drivers and own transportGood knowledge of different business functions and strong leadership abilityGood computer skills and a proactive natureGood interpersonal skills and communication abilityFluency in English and XhosaMust be able to run the plant in terms of production and orders reporting to H/OStrong work ethic and highly organizedCandidate must be resident in the Butterworth areaThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Overseeing daily business operations (manufacturing)Develop / implement growth strategiesTraining low level managers and staffCreating / managing budgetsWork closely with Head Office to ensure production is on scheduleHandle key accountsHead up production linked to salesEvaluation performance and productivityResearch / identify growth opportunitiesGenerate reports and give presentations based on production Salary: R40 000 per month (including travel allowance)
