General Manager - Leading 4* Hotel - Durban

Our client, a reputable hotel in the city, is on the hunt for a skilled General Manager to oversee their hotel operations. This role demands a motivated and experienced leader with a strong background in managing large teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.The ideal candidate must have:Knowledge of Micros and Opera Cloud systems.Expertise in food and beverage costing.The ability to manage service providers and supplier liaisons.Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and as needed.Strong communication and reporting skills with experience in liaising with Directors.Responsibilities include:Managing a team of 100-120 staff, including casuals.Reporting directly to the Directors.This position offers a competitive salary package in the range of 45k to 60k, depending on experience.Minimum requirements:Proven experience as a General Manager at a reputable 3-star or 4-star hotel in Durban.Must be residing in Durban.Between 3 - 5 years of experience.
