Requirements: BEng. / B.Tech qualification in either Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar. Minimum of 10 years practical experience in a Warehouse Operations, Production Management, Project Management and/or Continuous Improvement. Senior Management Experience, preferable within the Automotive and/or Logistics industries. Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to: Lead the Operational Excellence team to implement new warehouse and logistics solutions, and to improve existing operations through specific initiatives. Act as the project lead for the implementation of new warehouse and logistics solutions, by coordinating different internal (Customer Services, Technical, IT, PMO, Operations, HR, Finance) and third-party teams to ensure facility readiness, operational readiness, go-live transition and hyper care stabilization Act as single point of contact to the client during the solution implementation and hyper care phases of new solution projects. Conduct solution readiness during the project implementation phase. Prepare the operations team for go-live by planning and executing day-in-the-warehouse assessment, training, gemba activation and embedment. Lead the stabilization of the operations from go-live to ensure the operations achieve its service levels, and handover to the end-state operations management team. Responsible custodian of the Operations Excellence Hub project deliverables. Improve existing operations through specific initiatives by conducting operational audits to check operation of the companys adherence, identifying counter measure plans and managing the action plans. Establish internal benchmark of the efficiencies of existing operations to inform solution design and required operational excellence initiatives. Responsible custodian of the company of managing operations, including operations management framework, Gemba process, and associated tools. Identify opportunities for and drive the standardization of operations management practices and tools across all the companys operations . Manage a team of Operational Excellence Specialists and coordinate with all required functions within the companies to priorities and deliver on the new solution implementation and existing operations improvements mandate.
