TRIZ Engineering seeks an accomplished General Manager to lead our operations in Bangalore, India. This multifaceted role requires strong leadership skills, a business-oriented mindset, and expertise in all Human Resources (HR) aspects. The successful candidate should relocate to India, where they will play a pivotal role in the recruitment, HR management, and establishment of our presence in the Indian market.Key ResponsibilitiesRelocation to India:• Be willing and open to relocate to India as part of the long-term commitment to establishing and managing the Triz Engineering Office in Bangalore, India.Office Establishment:• Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for setting up the new office in Bangalore, India.• Coordinate with local authorities, vendors, and service providers to ensure a smooth and efficient establishment process.• Oversee the logistical aspects, including office space selection, IT infrastructure setup, and other facilities.HR Management:• Lead the recruitment process for local staff in line with the company requirements.• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in Bangalore, India, in compliance with local labour laws and Triz Engineering standards.• Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive workplace culture.• Develop and implement a Wellness Program in compliance with local labour laws and Triz Engineering's standards.• Develop an employee retention strategy in accordance with local best practices, labour laws and Triz Engineering standards.Talent Development:• Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the local team.• Facilitate career development plans for employees, ensuring continuous growth and engagement.Performance Management:• Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews for employees.• Implement performance improvement plans and recognize and reward high-performing individuals.Legal Compliance:• Stay informed about local labor laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance.• Manage work permits, visas, and other legal requirements for international staff.Profit and Loss (P&L) Management:• Take ownership of the local P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is sustained.• Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and reduce costs.Marketing:• Collaborate with the marketing team for relevant campaigns and lead generation in India and other target countries.• Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility internationally.• Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion in multiple countries.Financial Management:• Oversee the financial performance of the Bangalore, India operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.• Implement cost control measures.• Ensure financial compliance to local regulations and laws.• Constantly search for more efficiency and reduce the overall cost of administration.Operations Management:• Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and communication across different functions.• Facilitate on-boarding and training of new employees to ensure their efficient integration into engineering teams.• Monitor and improve processes to ensure efficient operation of the team located in India.Qualifications & Skills• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (an Engineering background is a requirement).• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a technology or engineering-oriented industry.• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L effectively.• Experience in HR management, including recruitment, talent development, and legal compliance.• Willingness to travel internationally and relocate to India.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.• Attention to detail.• Integrity and honesty.• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.• Good work ethics.• Hardworking, willing to go the extra mile.• Professionalism.• Ability to work independently.• Excellent task management skills.• Team player, able to work well in a team.• Ability to work under pressure and handle priority changes.• Strong problem-solving abilities.Working hours:08h00 – 17h00, Monday to Friday (subject to change) with core hours and flexi time, and may require overtime as per project.Leave is based on statutory requirements.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
