Job Description:Providing general management and leadership functions in relation to the operation of the PackhouseOverseeing and managing outsourced service providers (e.g. Outsourced financial management etc.) to ensure compliance by such parties with their respective obligations to the CompanyOverseeing the maintenance of all equipment and machinery situated at the Packhouse and on the PropertyProviding strategic input and assisting with the development of plans, policies and ensure the continuous improvement of the administrative, operation and production systems of the PackhouseOverseeing and ensuring that all necessary insurance is in place and maintained in respect of the Packhouse and all equipment, machinery and movables situated therein, in accordance with industry standards and practicesOverseeing and ensuring that the biggest cost drivers of the Business (such as labour, packaging and labelling costs and chemicals) are at all times managed in accordance with good industry standards and practicesOverseeing and identifying any risk areas to be addressed by the Company, and implementing appropriate risk policies and practices in accordance with good industry standardsSupporting and assisting with the achievement of successful business strategies, operational efficiencies and the optimal utilisation of capacity and costsImplementing and controlling the production schedule of the PackhouseAnalysing and implementing proper production and quality control policies to ensure the efficient and accurate detection and correction of problemsNegotiating with producers and clients for the conclusion of Packing AgreementsEnsuring that all producers which have entered into a Packing Agreement with the Company are treated in accordance with the same principles and standardsCompiling packing schedules of the Packhouse in accordance with the best interests of the CompanyLiaising with exporters on packing requirementsImplementing and managing the administration and production systems approved by the board of the Company from time to timeEnsuring the performance of certain key contracts with outside or third party service providers, including staff transportation services, supply of packing material and any other service providersThe provision of human resource and employee management services, including disciplinary action against staff members where necessaryScheduling meetings with directors and other stakeholders of the Company, and regularly reporting to the board and the shareholders of the Company as to the performance of the Packhouse and the provision of your ServicesAt least once each calendar quarter or more often as required by the Board of Directors and any one of the shareholders of the Company, provide a written report
