Select your country to see jobs specific to your location.A General Manager of Human Capital Management based in the Skukuza area at the Kruger National Park, reporting directly to the Managing Executive.Key Responsibilities:Manage the implementation of the HCM Strategy and Operational Plan.Provide leadership, development, and management of the HCM team.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders for mutual benefit.Oversee the Kruger National Park remuneration and benefits.Actively engage in Change Management initiatives, Transformation efforts, and Culture-related processes.Manage the learning and development interventions within KNP.Oversee Employee Relations, Employee Wellness, and Occupational Health and Safety.Manage accuracy of Payroll and all other HCM operational interventions.Lead and manage recruitment, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.Maintain sound governance and financial management of the KNP HCM unit.Implement programs that encourage transformation, diversity, and inclusion within the workplace.Analyze HCM data to make informed decisions and provide reports to senior management.Required Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree with Honours/Post Graduate qualification in Human Capital Management/Social Sciences/Commerce/Industrial Psychology.7 to 9 years of Human Capital management experience as a Generalist.4 years in a senior management position.Sound knowledge of Labour Legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA, etc.).Sound knowledge of Change management principles.Knowledge of Human Capital Management Principles.Knowledge of Payroll and Benefits administration.Knowledge of HCM Technology and Information Systems.Knowledge of diversity and inclusion.Ability to strategize and solve problems.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Qualifications and Experience which will provide an added advantage:Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Social Sciences/Commerce/Business Administration.Knowledge of conservation & tourism industry.Knowledge of project management.Knowledge of budget management.Knowledge of IT computer literacy.Desired Skills:Human Resources Management.HR Operational management.Desired Qualification Level:Degree.About The Employer:Based in the beautiful Kruger National Park, this role is ideal for a qualified person who has a passion for nature conservation and wishes to settle in the long term in this critical position.
