General Manager: Human Capital JOB PURPOSE Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the programme and operations of the Human Resources of the entire Great North Transport (GNT) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborates with executive leadership to define the entity's long-term mission and goals; identify ways to support this mission through talent management.
Identify key performance indicators for the entity's human resource and talent management functions; assesses the entity's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics Researches, develops and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programmes.
Provide guidance and leadership to the human resources management team; assist with resolution of resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, risks and/or issues.
Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
Draft and implement the organisation's staffing budget, and the budget for human resource department.
Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events Performs other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification supplemented by post-graduate qualification in human Resources.
Ten (10) years' experience in human capital/resources management with five (5~) years at management level.
Solid experience in working in a unionised environment Proficiency in Ms Office and HRIS OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Leadership and People Management Skills Decisiveness or showing the ability to make accurate decisions quickly.
Demonstrate integrity and be reliable.
Must have excellent communication, negotiations, presentation, and strong interpersonal skills High degree of computer literacy in power point, excel, word and electronic means of communication.
Problem solving skills; analytical, cognitive, coaching and strategic thinking skills using best methods Ability to identify and set priorities, plan and effectively allocate appropriate resources Attention to details so that relevant issues are addressed and result in high quality outcomes.
