From print ads and billboards to engaging social media posts and digital campaigns, your writing will help shape the voice and story of some of the most exciting brands.
Key Responsibilities: Develop creative, clear, and engaging copy for traditional advertising (TV, radio, print) as well as digital platforms (social media, websites, online ads).
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute innovative concepts for campaigns across various industries.
Write compelling headlines, tag-lines, and body copy that resonate with target audiences and align with client goals.
Craft content that is optimised for various social media platforms, understanding the nuances of tone, style, and format for each.
Stay up-to-date with trends in advertising and social media, using insights to inspire fresh, on-trend ideas.
Work with account managers to understand client needs, target markets, and campaign objectives, and translate these into effective copy.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, is grammatically sound, and is free of errors.
Revise and edit copy based on client feedback and internal reviews.
Assist with content strategy and planning for social media calendars, digital campaigns, and traditional advertising efforts.
Participate in client presentations, sharing the rationale behind your creative decisions.
Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience (2+ years) as a copywriter, preferably in an advertising agency or similar environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing work across both traditional and digital platforms, including print ads, TV/radio scripts, and social media campaigns.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to adapt tone and style based on the client's brand and the media platform.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for digital copy.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok) and what drives engagement on each.
Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A creative thinker with the ability to generate original ideas that capture attention and drive action.
Preferred Skills: Experience working on campaigns for a wide range of industries, from retail to technology.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Ability to pitch ideas and present copy to clients with confidence.
