FTC (12 Months) Africa and Global Sponsorship Manager
Position: New Business Development
Location: Woodmead
Compensation: R40k CTC + Incentives
Contract: International Clients: China, Asia Pacific, MENA (Middle East and North Africa), USA, Central Africa
Responsibilities:

Execute sales and sponsorship strategy
Travel required to do Activation Presentations and Spokesperson / Travel missions/Roadshows
Actively seek out and follow through on new prospects from all relevant sources
New business development
Retention and growth of the existing business through strategic account management
Drive sales and sponsorship strategy
Ability to travel
Responsible for the overall recruitment, engagement, and securing sponsors for a large and well-known event
Provide other relationship building activities for the event as per the targets set out and agreed
Recruit and sell floorspace to industry pavilions
Key deliverable is sourcing and securing new business for sponsorships and exhibition space in a fast-paced business environment

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in sales with Sponsorships
Existing relationships in Africa
Existing relations internationally
Ability to build new relationships quickly
Align and deliver on required targets
Fast paced environment
