The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join the Front Office Team!

Embodying the rich heritage of Southern hospitality, this historic hotel features 504 rooms, over 60,000 square feet of meeting space, and five food and beverage outlets, including two restaurants, a caf, a seasonal rooftop bar, and in-room dining.
What will I be doing?
As the Front Office Supervisor, you will provide guidance and leadership to ensure consistent quality in customer service.
You will assist Guest Service Agents, Operators, Reservation Agents, Bell Attendants, and other departments with any questions or requests.
Additionally, you will prepare and conduct daily pre-shift meetings, communicate effectively with all staff, and provide them with the necessary information to deliver guest service in accordance with Hilton standards.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITYThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and
demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable
accommodation.
•Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels
of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information to resolve conflicts.
•Basic mathematical skills and considerable skills in the use and operation of a calculator to prepare
moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
•Ability to see and hear in order to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
College experience preferred.
EXPERIENCEOne year combined Front Desk and Supervisory experience in hospitality or related industry preferred.
