Job Title: Front Office ManagerZeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team.Job Summary:We are looking for a professional and organized individual to manage the front office operations of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the hotel's standards are maintained.Key Responsibilities:Manage the front office team to ensure excellent customer service and high occupancy levels.Oversee the management of reservations, reception, concierge, and switchboard operations.Develop and implement effective procedures to ensure efficient and accurate cash handling, billing, and record keeping.Collaborate with the General Manager to review departmental performance and set objectives.Recruit, train, and manage the front office team to ensure they meet the hotel's standards.Monitor and control daily revenues, reporting any deviations to the Finance Manager.Represent the front office department in management meetings and contribute to the formulation of departmental standards.Requirements:Matric or equivalent qualification.Recognized 3-year tertiary qualification in hospitality or a related field.At least 2 years' experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager in a similar 4 or 5-star hotel.Exceptional fluency in English and strong computer literacy, with emphasis on Opera (PMS System) and Microsoft Office.Well-developed leadership, training, and communication skills.Good business acumen and competent financial understanding.Ability to work shifts and occasional overtime.Conversational ability in a third official South African language and/or a European language would be an advantage.What We Offer:Zeebra Junction Specialist Recruitment offers a competitive salary, live-out position, and opportunities for career growth and development.
