With inspections, audits and certifications, we support food growers, producers and retailers, as well as businesses in food service and hospitality, securing their food products' journey from farm to shelf and fork.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking to fill two vacant positions for freelance auditors to assist with our South African and Indian Ocean certification needs. We are looking for experienced professionals who can contribute to our development in the region.Key Responsibilities:Perform audits according to organic certification standards.Evaluate compliance with organic farming practices and regulations.Document findings and provide accurate audit reports.Work closely with certification bodies to maintain certification integrity.Effectively communicate audit outcomes to clients and stakeholders.Keep up-to-date with changes in organic standards and regulations.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing organic certification standards.Certification in organic auditing with a deep understanding of organic farming practices and regulations.Strong observational and communication skills to effectively assess compliance with organic standards.Experience working with relevant certification bodies.Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other languages is beneficial.Availability to work on freelance engagements with the flexibility to travel to different regions as required.We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented professionals who are eager to contribute to our mission.
