Forklift Driver

Main Objectives Loading stock within the department.
 Receiving and placing replenishment stock, in designated areas Responsibilities •    Neatness of Forklift •    Load and offload of trucks •    Transport and stack raw materials •    Housekeeping •    Pre-operation checks and reporting issues.
•    Moving pallet packed materials around the site or storage facility.
•    Checking and ensuring loads are secure.
•    Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
•    Following written instructions and keeping records.
•    Adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
•    Ad hoc tasks •    Cording to laid down specification, Neatness of Forklift, Load and off-load of trucks, Transport and stack raw& packaging materials following FIFO, Responsible for waste management, Housekeeping,  •    Completes and verifies records to document all work.
•    Responsible for picking goods, packing stock in the warehouse.
•    Ensuring all items are stored in correct locations Skills and Attributes Required •    Must understand Business processes, rules and procedures •    Must understand Safe working practices •    Must understand Stock control principles •    Must have Good Communication skills •    Must understand Sense of urgency/results orientation •    Must have Numerical ability •    Must be Innovative with high focus on Continuous Improvements •    Must be able to work in a Team •    Must be Accountable •    Must be self-motivated •    Must have Respect for self and others
