Foreclosure Consultant

Our client is looking for a Foreclosure Consultant in the Durban area to manage a portfolio of arrear accounts in the Foreclosure Team and where necessary, to institute legal action using approved attorneys on the panel.
DescriptionNegotiate with clients regarding their arrears.Interact with panel attorneys and provide necessary instructions while managing attorney performance.Identify trigger accounts and maintain constant follow ups to reduce non-performing loans.Identify high-risk and high-balance accounts and action within agreed turnaround times.Deal with matters to normalize accounts as soon as possible or bring them to finality within the shortest time and with minimal cost and loss implications.Be proactive and strategic in risk and compliance management by complying with all relevant legislation and continue to position risk and compliance as a critical business management pillar.Ensure all communications, including written and verbal, are of a professional standard at all times.Maintain meticulous file management and update the system with records of any actions or follow-ups attended to on an account.Adapt to change as the department's needs require it.Conduct oneself in an amazing and professional manner when executing responsibilities and during all interactions.Ensure that a high level of care, commitment, and communication is always displayed.Education ProfileMinimum Education & Experience Requirements: LLB (Law Degree)/Paralegal Diploma.1 to 2 years of experience and knowledge in Foreclosures or Legal recoveries.Preferred Education & Experience Requirements: Admitted Attorney.3 to 4 years of experience and knowledge in Foreclosures, Legal recoveries, or Civil Litigation.Proficient in Afrikaans (Written and Verbal).Application InstructionsPlease forward your CV to ******.
