Food Technologist / Cheese Maker

Well established concern based in Underberg are looking for a Cheese Maker to join their team.
This position would entail ensuring production goals are achieved and ensuring the final packaged product meets the organisations specifications and food safety standards.
Responsibilities and Duties: Homogenizing and emulsifying raw materialsDrying, dehydrating, rehydrating, and aging for processUsing various types of equipment safely and efficiently; vats, mixers, homogenizersOperating different cleaning equipment for various types of raw materialsUsing equipment to shape mixtures into desired product shapeNotifying appropriate personnel if frequency of products doesn't meet specificationComparing products to quality standardsQualifications: 2 years' experience as a Cheese MakerHigh school diploma or an equivalentAdditional on-the-job training may be provided
