Job DescriptionArmstrong Appointments is seeking a highly experienced and successful Restaurant Operations Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and operations, with experience working across multiple business units.Main Responsibilities:Implement Loss Control processes and monitor.Investigate and ensure individual product profitability.Find innovative solutions to address critical elements.Attend ad hoc requests from the CEO.Work closely with other Divisionals and CEO on a daily basis.Communicate with external parties, such as service providers and customers.Drive customer excellence, facilities management, HR management, financial management, informational management, and risk management.Sales/marketing and time management.High visibility leadership and management.Area manager success routine: Daily store audits with weekly and monthly feedback to managers.Regular Restaurant visits.Period and quarterly store audit routine.Attend Operations meetings and communicate with managers.Build and align and develop team according to company goals.Manage local store marketing done by the Managers.Handle suppliers where necessary.Handle escalated customer complaints.Head Office inspections to ensure store is running operationally.Follow disciplinary procedures and chair inquiries (presiding officer).Ensure that stores are profitable.Requirements:Advanced computer literacy, MS Office, Excel & G Suite.Experience in planning & resource management.Experience in cost and risk management.Experience knowledge in procurement best practices.Experience in loss control.Experience in staff management.Matric/Diploma with 2 to 5 years experience as a manager - Fast Food Franchise managing multiple stores at the same time.Valid Driver's License.Ability to travel extensively.Criteria:Management & Leadership skills.Reliability.Strategic thinker.Analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.Problem Solving skills.Ability to implement systems and plans.Sound communication skills.Advance Excel/Sheet skills.Deadline and outcome driven.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Work well within a team and independently.Handle pressure and strict deadlines.Multi-store management.Stock Control.Maintenance control.
