Leading manufacturer is seeking a trade tested Fitter & Turner with 5 years post trade experience in Pietermaritzburg.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain plant equipment by means of machining and mechanical workManufacture of spare componentsManufacture of toolingGeneral milling and toolingGeneral maintenance of hydraulic systems REQUIREMENTS Fitter & Turner Trade TestPrecision turning of bronze bushingThread cutting and machining of induction hard chrome shaftInternal machining of barrel tubingAbility to analyse and implement corrective measures on mechanical wear of old machinery (Rebuilding of wornout parts alignment etc.
)Accurate turning and milling of componentsIn depth knowledge of mechanical repairsHydraulic skillsMachine alignment (Chain/vbelt)Ability to obtain working at heights permitAble to lift heavy equipment RUMUNERATION Basic: R150 to R192 per hour
