Fitter: Cold End.Production Services: Bellville Factory.Role DescriptionTo contribute to the efficient repair, maintenance and operation of all the equipment in the Cold End Department.ResponsibilitiesSets up, monitors and settles job changes.Responsible for planned maintenance on production lines.Does repairs on production lines and general plant equipment.Performs general engineering duties and maintains good engineering practices.Be willing to transfer skills to the rest of the team, ensuring effective team output.Adheres to departmental standards and procedures.Required to work overtime.Required to fulfil standby duties.Required Skills / QualificationsMatric / N3 equivalent.Fitter or Fitter & Turner trade certificate (Red seal) - prerequisite.Hydraulics, Pneumatics knowledge and skills. (Basic engineering)Experience in conveyor systems, pumps, gearboxes and drives.Palletiser & shrouder experience. (added advantage)Basic Computer literacy. (SAP system added advantage)ExperienceAt least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in a high-speed job changeover environment.
