This role involves operating precision machinery, performing under pressure in a production environment, and ensuring all work meet stringent quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Machining and Fabrication:Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, and other precision tools to manufacture axle and related components.Quality Assurance:Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure all parts meet industry standards and specifications.Maintain accurate records of inspection results and work performed. Assembly:Assemble mechanical components to form completed axles.Test assembled axles to ensure they function correctly and meet performance requirements.Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and standards. Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement effective solutions.Stay updated with new techniques and tools in the field and participate in training programs.Important Skills:Technical Proficiency:Expertise in operating lathes, milling machines, and other precision machinery.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Mechanical Aptitude:Experience in assembling and disassembling mechanical components.Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.Understanding of different metals and materials used in manufacturing.
