Fitter And Turner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in both fitting and turning operations. The Fitter and Turner will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, as well as fabricating and repairing components using a variety of tools and techniques.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsAssemble and install machinery and equipmentPerform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipmentFabricate and weld components as neededOperate a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinding machinesEnsure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracyAdhere to all health and safety regulations and proceduresRequirementsA minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fitter and TurnerProficiency in fitting and turning operationsStrong knowledge of mechanical engineering principlesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExperience fabricating and welding componentsSkilled in operating a variety of machine toolsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTrade certification in Fitting and TurningThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fitter and Turner to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.
