Fitter And Turner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in both fitting and turning operations. The Fitter and Turner will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, as well as fabricating and repairing components using a variety of tools and techniques.Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Assemble and install machinery and equipment Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment Fabricate and weld components as needed Operate a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy Adhere to all health and safety regulations and proceduresRequirements A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fitter and Turner Proficiency in fitting and turning operations Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience fabricating and welding components Skilled in operating a variety of machine tools Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork skillsEducation High school diploma or equivalent required Trade certification in Fitting and TurningThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fitter and Turner to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.
