Our client is seeking Trained Psychiatric Registered Nurses for a professional facility based in Berea, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Must have psychiatric experience. Seeking the best team players to be part of this organisation to start immediately.
Behavioural CompetencyCapable of recognising the need for action, considering possible risks, and taking responsibility for results.Capable of making decisions timeously and taking responsibility for the consequences.The capacity to identify and respond to the needs of the patient.The capacity to improve systems and processes to facilitate continuous improvement.Capacity to instil an ethic of quality and consistency in self.Capacity to establish constructive and effective relationships – working calmly, efficiently with exceptional professional boundaries.Capacity to clearly present information, either written or verbal.Capacity to perform a technical function to required standards.DutiesEffective patient care with a sound knowledge of psychiatric conditions, treatment, medication and preventing risks.Accurate recording of all nursing related documentation daily.Daily nursing tasks, including but not limited to, monitoring clients at mealtimes, monitoring clients with eating disorders, monitoring clients with suicidal and self-harm potential.You will be expected to handle all admissions efficiently and professionally, ensuring new clients are made welcome, safe, and settled in with no delays.Undertake any other duties as delegated by the Nursing Manager.RequirementsA relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/B Cur Degree).Registration with SANC.Minimum of at least 5 Years of Psych experience.Excellent English communication skills.Passionate about Psych healthcare.Salary: Above market related, depending on experience.
