About the Role You will be an integral part of our growing firm, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to increase brand awareness and drive marketing initiatives:
Develop and execute marketing campaigns that align with business goals and objectives. Work cross-functionally with events, talent, and research teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the team to create marketing materials, such as our monthly newsletter, The Greene Street Observer, and the Genesis Summit Newsletter. Manage and create content for social media channels: set content calendar, run campaigns, write all posts. Manage and create content for the Activant website. Monitor and report on social media analytics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement. Oversee and manage freelancers and 3rd party vendors for design assets, research assets, and content assets. Experience and Qualifications 2-4 years experience in marketing and social media (ideally in an investing, tech, or startup environment). Bachelor's degree required. Must have authorization to work in the US / South Africa. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Skillset Technical skill: Familiarity or proficiency with Figma and Canva. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools. Proficiency in Newsletter Software (Beehiv). A plus if you have experience with the CMS Sanity. Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite. Professional Skills: Content Creation: Strong writing and editing skills to create engaging content. Event Marketing / Coordination: Experience in event promotion, developing ideas on how to get more people at Activant's events. Working with 3rd party vendors for events both large scale and small. Project Management: Managing multiple projects at once simultaneously.
