Cashflow Prepare / Review monthly and annual cashflow including budgets and forecasts for the purposes of cash management for stakeholders.
Alert GFM/FD to any risk factors to cashflow Statutory and Internal Reporting Review and preparation of month end reports such as cash flow, provisions, working capital and debt schedule reports.
Calculate and track key financial ratios for the Group.
Prepare monthly Group Sales pack splitting revenue across functional/product departments and Business Units.
Taxation (IAS12) and Statutory Compliance Prepare all companies tax workings, deferred tax and provisional tax.
Advise on tax allowances on property plant and equipment and ensure tax efficiencies for fixed assets.
Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits and reduce cash outflows.
Keep abreast of tax changes that will affect the Group.
Follow industry trends and track regulatory changes related to taxes.
Assist GFM/FD and respond to SARS queries where relevant.
Ensure all company secretarial functions are performed for all group companies and compliance in terms of Company's Act.
Fixed Assets (IAS16, IAS38, IFRS16) Prepare consolidated FAR report.
Assist to ensure all accounting and tax registers are reviewed monthly and correct depreciation and wear and tear allowance are claimed in terms of Section 11(e) and 12C.
Perform with the workings for each ROU (IFRS16) asset and liability and assets under instalment sale at inception, for the duration of the agreement and at each financial year end.
Work with the FM on any technical matters affecting fixed assets.
Work with FM of Digital to Create an income statement to EBIT and 5 year forecast for each Intangible Assets classified as Computer Software Audits Assist with audit queries.
Preparing the required schedules and returns for review ensuring validity, accuracy, and completeness of the underlying information.
Assist FM/FD coordinate the activities of financial consultants and auditors.
Participate in the auditing process from planning to conclusion.
Maintain regular contact with auditors to meet required deadlines and ensure streamlined processes are in place.
Provide regular updates to the FM/FD and Financial Management teams and all other key stakeholders as required.
Recommend and implement best practice guidelines emanating from any audit findings.
Preparation of Consol Pack for Audit Budgets Assist FM/FD, ensure alignment of the budgeting process across the Group.
Compilation of the consolidated budget and other accounts on the standardized template where required.
Assist with the preparation of the consolidated Sales Budget for the group by Customer, by BU with comparatives Assist with the preparation of financial budgets.
Actively participate in the budgeting process for Group Services and other statutory entities.
Assist with consolidation of the Capex Budget for the group by BU Assist with preparation of group debt schedules for budgets.
Forecasts Assist FM/FD where necessary.
Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts and five-year forecasts.
IFRS Ensure all companies compliance to IFRS.
Keep up to date with all IFRS changes and implement across the businesses.
Implement, enhance and maintain financial processes that are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
Financial and ERP Systems Provide in-depth understanding of Business Central.
Ensure that after year-end is complete, all Business Units are rolled over in Business Central.
Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Internal Controls Assist with continuous improvement and implementation of sound financial controls To be alert to any irregularity, lack of compliance, lack of adherence, and problems whether actual or potential concerning financial systems, financial operations, accounting, audits, the budgets and any other matter of a financial nature which could or does have a financial implication.
Projects Work on any ad hoc projects as and when necessary, as agreed with the FM/FD.
AFS Prepare all companies financial statements in line with IFRS.
Leadership and Supervision Share knowledge, guidance and perspective with the extended finance team to ensure continued elevation of the finance department.

Statutory Obligations Assist in ensuring all statutory obligations for the group are met.
Covenants, Capital Structuring and Debt Management Prepare a Debt Register and Term Debt Schedule and maintained monthly for the group.
IDU Monthly maintenance of the IDU system Upskill, understanding and capabilities on IDU Support administrator of IDU Treasury Consolidate weekly cash flow forecasts in line with the Cash Flow management process.
Maintain an updated Group debt schedule that is complete and reflects the latest interest rates applicable.
Maintain amortisations of financial liabilities.
Reconcile the monthly debt schedule to the monthly management accounts.
Other Prepare and submit quarterly, bi-annual and annual Stat SA reports.
Prepare journal entries for group and consolidation transactions.
Perform research and advise on appropriate journal entries for complex accounting transactions.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Qualification: A Bachelor of Commerce degree Qualified Chartered Accountant CA (SA) with articles from a Big 4 audit company Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role with a medium to large organisation with experience in financial analysis and business processes reporting and documenting Broad understanding of business processes and controls Experience with project management methodologies Strong accounting knowledge and experience Sound knowledge of IFRS and technically astute Regulatory and compliance awareness Accounting / Financial Services jobs
