Our client is looking for a FM with experience in Golf or Hospitality This is a hands-on position based in Pretoria.Preference will be given to candidates living in Pretoria or willing to relocate.Responsibilities of the Finance ManagerFull Function Accounting, Admin and Financial Management.Daily cash ups and capturing of these transactions.Debtors InvoicingSupplier recons and PaymentsVarious Month end journalsVAT calculationsBank reconsDepreciation, provisions etcClearing of spending accounts; league fees, committee fees etcROE calculationsEmployment equity reportingBalance sheet reconsRounds recons and Membership STATSRecon of OverheadsPetty CashSystem controlsPayrollStatutory payroll submissions: EMP201, EMP501Integration of two systems over month endAny other ad hoc tasks that may arise Monthly reporting:Management accounts which include:Income statementStatement of Financial PositionCashflowDepartmental reportingVariance reportingBudgetingForecasting The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:Good financial knowledge and experienceGood interpersonal experience and skills to manage and work with employees at all levels.Deadline-drivenSkills to train, monitor, evaluate and motivate fellow colleaguesFluent in Afrikaans and English.Contactable referencesKnowledge skills and expertise:Relevant academic qualification in the field of Commerce, Accounting or Financial ManagementAt least 4 years' experience in a similar environment, preferably within the golfing and hospitality industryRemuneration package:Market-related, depending on experience and qualifications.
