Financial Manager

Oversee the financial management of the group, including tax advice and support to the in-house tax practitionerProvide financial advice to the business and manage the entire financial function of the groupDevelop and manage annual forecasts and budgetsAnalyze financial performance against budgets and forecastsOffer financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-makingManage external audits and treasury operationsAuthorize and review financial reporting and all aspects of transactional accounting (creditors, debtors, expense claims, etc.Ensure compliance with CIPC, direct and indirect taxation returnsReview and revise contracts, offer opinions as neededAssist with small acquisitions, start-ups, and due diligenceManage property and tax strategies, and structure plansDevelop and implement policies, procedures, and processesBe prepared for potential limited travelLead a small team, maximizing engagement, performance, and deliverablesProvide professional support through mentorship and clear communication of roles and responsibilitiesCreate and manage KPIs, provide performance feedback, and assist in personal development plansEnsure clarity of company and team strategy among team membersSkills & Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience as a CA (SA)Strong knowledge of ERP systems and processes, with Sage X3 experience being beneficialDeep understanding of tax laws and current legislationExcellent communication and listening skillsHands-on, business-oriented approachStrong analytical skills and leadership capabilities Qualification:CA (SA) with at least 10 years of relevant experience Contact OLIVIA MELTZER on
