My client, based in Stellenbosch, is seeking to employ a Financial Manager. This is considered a key position within the organisation.The ideal candidate will have a B.Comm Accounting or similar degree and have 8+ years experience. Key responsibilitiesPreparation of financial statements and interaction with AuditorsPreparation of monthly management accountsBudget and forecastMonthly VAT management and submissionInter-company entries and consolidationIncome tax returnsBilling and capturing of costsDebtors and creditors managementCost control and inventory managementMain skill stackMain:Solid independent accounting experience, ideally using Business CentralAbility to manage financial administration of a South African businessPowerBI experienceAdvantageous:Business Central setup and management skills or broader Microsoft 365 experienceBonus:Knowledge or experience with Dutch domestic accounting and tax system.KnowledgeIndependent administration of management accounts, budget and forecast, cost control and billing as well as VAT and Income tax management.8+ years experienceAcademic background and qualificationsB.Comm Accounting or similarBusiness CentralExcellent written and interpersonal communication skills in Afrikaans and English is essential.
