Duties:Providing leadership and overseeing financial accounting, driving business growth and monitoring business performanceFinance governance and monitoring.Driving continuous improvement in the finance functionFinancial reporting: providing insight into the business and key drivers, through complete and accurate analysis on monthly reporting to assist with decision making.Present monthly and quarterly reviews of management accounts to group/executivesDrive efficient month-end finalization through the implementation of SOP.Understand, manage and co-ordinate cost-saving initiatives.Strictly comply with group reporting timelines and ensure financial compliance of the business meets group standards.Working capital management: Debtor management, supplier relationship with key suppliers is maintained and timely payments and stock management.Understand capex requirements of the business, asset utilization, capex reporting and EVA modelling.Yearly financial audits and tax and deferred tax calculationsDriving and managing the preparation of the budgets, forecasts including timely submission to groupContinuous engagement with finance staff, training, identification of areas of improvement and management of the finance team, to ensure optimal performance are maintained.Ensure compliance with policies, legislation, regulations and good governance.Ensure changes in financial regulations and legislation are implemented.Preparation of VAT returns.Ensuring compliance with VAT legislation.Raising Orders for the Central Finance Divisions.Raising GRVs for the Central Finance Divisions.Rebilling of costs across legal entities.Preparing budgets and forecasts for the Shared Services Division.Job Experience & Skills Required: Completed BComMinimum 5 years experience in Accounting and Financial Manager role.Syspro experience is essentialExperience within the Manufacturing industry is essential.
