This role also includes daily supervision of the accounting team.Key DutiesBudgeting:Lead the annual budgeting process. This role also includes daily supervision of the accounting team.Key DutiesBudgeting:Lead the annual budgeting process.Accounting/Finance:Supervise the Accounting Department to ensure all tasks are completed correctly, on time, and in line with corporate guidelines.Implement and maintain robust accounting controls and procedures for company transactions.Manage the general ledger.Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring accurate invoicing.Manage accounts payable, ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.Regularly audit balance sheet accounts.Review financial statements monthly, prepare reports for Board meetings, and present risk reviews and insurance renewals.Conduct financial analysis of operations and provide insights to management.Stay updated on accounting practices and apply relevant knowledge to enhance processes.Other Financial Responsibilities:Manage audits and tax preparations in collaboration with external firms and the corporate office.Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, ventures, and proposals.Present financial reports to the Board of Directors throughout the year.Provide strategic financial advice to management.Oversee the company's credit function, making key decisions when needed and adjusting bad debt reserves as necessary.Taxation:Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and government reporting.Cash Flow and Banking:Manage the company's cash resources, including investment strategies in collaboration with the corporate office.Handle banking activities, including wire transfers, foreign currency transactions, and credit card administration.Assist in managing cash flow and the investment portfolio.Develop and maintain strong banking relationships.Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts with updated assumptions quarterly.Insurance and Legal:Manage business insurance, including coverage for various liabilities, and resolve insurance claims.Oversee confidentiality agreements, contract terms, and legal issues.Act as the primary contact for insurance-related matters and ensure all incidents requiring action are reported and followed up.Additional Responsibilities:Supervise the Accounting team to ensure efficient completion of tasks.Advise the Board of Directors on financial health and relevant issues.Oversee payroll administration.Coordinate local IT support with the corporate IT department.Manage lease contracts, including company vehicles.Oversee the company credit card program.Manage the credit function to ensure timely collection of receivables and minimal bad debts.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business.At least 8 years of experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in a manufacturing company.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel and ERP finance and accounting modules.Good people management experience.Ability to report to the Board of Directors and senior management on financial matters.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge in foreign currency management is advantageous.NOTE: We ONLY accept online applications.
