The successful incumbent will require Matric/Grade 12, a Post-Graduate Finance Degree and preferably be CA(SA) qualified. You will need 3 years Financial Accounting and Management work experience with at least 2 years' experience managing or leading in a financial accounting environment. You should also have experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) & preferably proficiency with Pastel Evolution.DUTIES:Analyse the Age analysis for the company throughout the month.Manage the entire Finance team.Check all recons for payment submitted by the Junior Financial Accountant before final sign off.Source suppliers and cost savings.Reconcile Suppliers and prepare payments where needed.Load payments on bank as well as new recipients and verify proof of banking details.Assist in getting all details needed for BEE Certification and track expenditure.Reconcile and check credit card statements.Assist in preparation for Audit.Intercompany Schedules for the company – confirmations in group.Process journals and approve other journals.Ad-hoc projects.Assist with budgets.Ensure that all processes and procedures are improved and maintained.REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications –Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.A Post-Graduate Finance Degree.CA(SA) preferred.Experience/Skills –3 Years' Financial Accounting and Management experience.At least 2 years' experience managing or leading a team in a financial accounting environment.
