Job Opportunity: Financial Director (CA)Location: Northern Suburbs, JohannesburgSalary: R70,000 – R80,000Responsibilities:Lead financial management for five premier restaurant locations.Oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.Ensure tax compliance and manage audits specific to the hospitality industry.Collaborate with finance teams and other departments.Develop financial policies and internal controls.Present financial information to stakeholders and management.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldChartered Accountant (CA) designation from a recognized professional body8-10+ years of financial management experience, preferably within the hospitality industryProven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecastingStrong understanding of hospitality financial operations, including revenue management and cost controlExpertise in preparing and analysing financial statements and reports for multiple business unitsExperience with tax compliance, audits, and financial regulations specific to the hospitality sectorProficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemsStrong leadership skills for managing finance teams and collaborating with other departmentsExcellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders and executive managementAbility to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controlsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess financial performance and identify improvement opportunitiesCapacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of industry trends and economic factors affecting the hospitality sectorCommitment to ethical financial practices and adherence to corporate governance standards
