Responsible for the Financial Management and Cost controls, Financial analysis, Capital appropriation requests and Accounting Procedures. Assist the Business Units and the 5 Production Sites in South Africa with Budgeting, Transfer pricing, Cost Centre Accounting and Projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Controlling & Financial Analysis Monthly analysis of Business Units (BU) and Service Units (SU) performance such as Sales; Production Costs; Fix Costs and Net Working Capital Inventory controlling and monitoring; including the co-ordination of annual audited inventory counts Preparing slides for Corporate and Business unit feedback. Global deadlines to be met Liaise with Corporate and Regional Controlling on a regular basis Regular site visits to the BU's to assist with issues and attending local BU management meetings Assisting with the maintenance and management of the Masterdate for the BUs and SUs; in close collaboration with the Site-Controllers/ Analysts. Cost Controlling Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Annual Planning and Budgeting of the Cost Centers for all Business and Service Units Cost analysis; including the postings and allocation. Initiate corrections where necessary Regular review of capacity utiliztation, recovery rates and variances Become a contact person for issues with SAP Strong involvement in Projects Financial analysis of projects and capital appropriation request (CAR) Support of BU-projects and global projects with reports, documentation and forecasts Ensuring the correct capturing and reporting in SAP QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Accounting Diploma or Degree or similar 5 year experience in Controlling or Finance department SAP Knowledge _ Essential Report writing experience _ Essential Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint_Essential PERSONAL CHARACTARISTICS AND COMPETENCIES Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills High degree of drive, mobility and flexibility.
