Position SummaryThe Financial Analyst is responsible for providing detailed financial models, forecasting, and analysis to support Global MPS sites, including those in North America, the UK, and China. The role demands a highly analytical approach, intermediate Excel knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills. The Financial Analyst must work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerform variance and prime margin analysisProvide financial models and forecastingConduct quarterly industry analysisPrepare finance-related analysis and research in areas such as financial and cost-saving performance measuresParticipate in the annual budget process and cost-saving activities in conjunction with each department headProvide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by managementSupport the creation of materials for various management reviews and meetingsEvaluate and analyze ROI, KPIs and financial statementsAssist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processesAssist with financial and tax auditsProvide support to Accounting team including: Fixed Asset managementCapital Expenditure reportingAccounts Payable as neededContribute financial information to strategic plans and reviews to meet accounting operational standards.Resolve accounting issues and identify areas for system improvement.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying informed on existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to these requirements, and advising management on necessary actions.Research and interpret accounting policies and regulations to address procedure-related questions.Maintain financial security by strictly adhering to internal controls.Protect the organization's value by safeguarding confidential information.
 Experience RequiredBS degree in Finance or equivalentMinimum of 2-4 years of experience working in an analytical role Intermediate Excel knowledgeDetail-oriented with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, reporting, and presentation skillsAbility to present financial information to a non-financial audienceUnderstanding of standard cost accounting, including Bill of Materials (BOM) and routingsExperience with Epicor Avante a plus
 This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.

Compensation DataThe salary range for this role is $78,000/year - $86,000/year.
