Accountant:Full accounting function which Includes: Cashbook to General Ledger Processing of journals Cost analysis - Effective management of cost and/or profit centres Management of the cost budgets Monthly reporting of costs per cost and/or profit centre Controlling of the effective and accurate reporting per cost / profit centre Comparison and reporting of deviations against budget. Effective management of month end procedures.Monthly Reconciliations: VAT Creditors Debtors Cash and bank Balance Sheet other accounts Monthly intercompany reconciliation and confirmations Cashflow management Monthly/Bi-monthly VAT 201 returns Asset Register credit applications Payment and recording of Head Office CostsAssisting the Financial Manager with: The annual audit Payroll taxes (EMP 501 + EMP 201 and ad hoc reports) Maintaining an audit trail Timeous resolving of queries. Personal Attributes: Highly motivated individual that can work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Good with numbers and meticulous attention to detail. Good Administration skills Problem solving skills. Interpersonal Skills Good people skills are required. Professionalism Exceptional conduct of self, with inherent loyalty and ability to maintain confidentiality. Communication and language skills. Must have an above average command of both Afrikaans and English proficiency. Requirements: Completed bachelors degree in accounting and articles Strong Accounting skill and treasury experience At least 2 years applicable accounting experience Bilingual, Afrikaans & English Salary - +- R30 000pm CTC
