Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Financial Accountant to join our Shared Services team. This role will be critical in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budget control, and adherence to compliance and governance standards. You'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis and reporting.Key Performance OutputsFinancial Reporting & Budget Control: Oversee the month-end close process, including general ledger accounting, fixed asset register maintenance, and preparing management accounts with detailed commentary. You will also be responsible for reconciling inter-company balances, drafting cash flow analysis, and handling external audits with the support of the Finance Manager.Accounting Administration: Review and release creditors' payments, manage provisions and accruals, and ensure foreign currency transactions are appropriately accounted for. You will also ensure that shared services recoveries align with agreements and company policy.Governance and Compliance: Support business functions in adherence to IFRS for SMEs, and ensure compliance with all company policies, tax (which includes VAT and EMP calculations and submissions) and regulatory requirements.Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a small finance team, driving performance excellence while fostering a positive work environment.
