Financial Accountant

Lexdan Select is assisting a client with their search for a Financial Accountant, based in Constantia, Western Cape:
Functions:

Prepare journal entries
Capture cash books and reconcile
Perform intercompany reconciliations
Prepare fixed asset purchase approval documents
Verify stock transactions and reconcile stock takes and report variances
Assist with production of financial and management accounts
Assist with the preparation of supporting documents for relevant SARS audits
Assist with audit file preparation for both internal and external auditors
Work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure robust financial controls

Requirements:

BCom Accounting / Finance degree
Experience with XERO is preferred
Proficient in advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and pivot tables
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R400000,00 - R500000,00 per year
