Our client, a market leader in the medical sector, is looking to hire a Financial Accountant based in Glenwood.Duties And ResponsibilitiesCashbook transactionsPreparation of Reconciliations - all B/S accountsAssisting with Creditors payments/reconciliations if neededGeneral finance workAssistance with preparation of management accounts and regulatory reportingAssistance with year-end preparationPreparation of Journals - monthly & annuallyCredit Control (Debtors) in Hospital Management system - following up with Case ManagersAudit preparationFixed assets register and related transactionsStock control procedures for new set-up of pharmacy stockSustainability and statistics reportingAssisting with costing and budgetsAssisting Financial ManagerUpdating information on a cloud-based ERP Software (once moved)CashbookDebtors/Credit ControlJournals - monthly & annuallyProvisions based on Credit Controller inputStock control transactionsAd hoc transactionsMinimum RequirementsBCom Accounting degree+/-5 years' experience in a similar positionMicrosoft Office (Excel)Accounting package knowledge (Sage, Pastel or similar)Knowledge And SkillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSalaryMarket related
