Financial Accountant

National company based in Woodstock in need of a suitable Financial Accountant. Your purpose will be to prepare and provide accurate information on all documentation, compliance with all company policies and procedures. You will be assisting with the administration and general ledger accounts of all companies with this FMCG giant and related entities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 – 5 years' experience.You Will Be Responsible For The FollowingMaintain and Review cash book for both Rand and CFC accounts, perform monthly bank account reconciliations for entitiesPrepare & Manage ad hoc EFT paymentsPrepare income tax schedules for tax returns disclosure purposes for all entitiesMaintain the Fixed Asset register working closely with OperationsAll tasks relating to Fixed Assets including Depreciation, W&T CalculationsPrepare monthly general journals including provisions, prepaymentsPrepare and maintain monthly GL recons including intercompany rechargesPreparation of VAT returnsOther ad hoc accounting and administrative dutiesQualificationsMatric with MathematicsB.
