Financial Accountant

The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial background and be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This position will require a proactive individual with a strong understanding of finance regulations and commercial accounting practices.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Manage and monitor all accounting operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger entries.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and legislation.Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for cost control, budget planning, and revenue forecasting.Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.Prepare VAT returns and ensure accurate tax submissions.Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors as required.Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business goals.Provide financial insights to support commercial decision-making.Minimum Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3-5 years of relevant experience in a commercial environment.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.How to Apply:If you meet the criteria and are prepared for a stimulating and fulfilling career opportunity, we encourage you to apply directly or contact Pabalelo Morena.
